Every time Green Day announces a new tour, I notice the same thing: Billie Joe Armstrong just doesn’t seem to age. He looks just the same as in 1994 when they released “Dookie”, the soundtrack of so many teens of the nineties.
Ten years later, they touched a nerve of another generation of adolescent (and grown up) fans with their hugely successful album “American Idiot” (2004).
In 2019 Green Day are still going strong and about to embark on a massive “Hella Mega Tour” across the globe. During their Asia leg in March 2020, they will also be visiting Japan for the first time in 8 years.
Update Nov: The shows on March 25th (Osaka) and 27th (Tokyo) and are sold out. Check here for resale ticket information.
