Jack White’s The Raconteurs: Two “Phone-Free” Tokyo Shows

The Raconteur’s first album in 11 years (“Help Us Stranger”) will be released on June 12th. However, the band around former White Stripes member Jack White has already embarked on a world tour to support the new material.

Their upcoming shows will be “phone-free”, which means you’ll be able to watch the show without any disturbing smartphones blocking the view.

As the promoter, Smash Japan, writes:

“Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and other photo or video-capturing gizmos will be secured in a Yondr pouch that will be unlocked at the end of the show.
You keep your pouch-secured phone on you during the show and, if needed, can unlock your phone at any time in a designated Phone Zone located in the lobby or concourse.”
