Last year indie pop band Phoenix visited Tokyo for three intimate club shows, supporting their album “Ti Amo”.
Since then this recent controversy around their old hit song “Lisztomania” and American congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has turned on a lot of people to their catchy tunes (again).
So exactly one year later, the French group will be back again, though this time for a round of five concerts (all at the same venue in Shibuya, Tokyo).
The shows are part of the “International Music Festival SOMEWHERE” which also features Justice (DJ set) and Carl Barat (Libertines, Dirty Little Things) on different days.
