The legendary Montreux Jazz Festival takes place every year on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. However, there is a Japanese version of the festival, now!
It is held in the center of Tokyo and is said to be “a place where cutting-edge music and various cultures such as art and fashion cross”.
The Japanese edition is smaller than the original, but the lineup is very promising, indeed.
Artists:
The Five Corners Quintet / BADBADNOTGOOD / J.A.M. piano trio from SOIL&”PIMP” SESSIONS
Kurt Rosenwinkel & Caipi featuring Pedro Martins / Mononkul / Ai Kuwabara
Marisa Monte / Chu Kosaka with Yoshie Nakano (Ego-Wrappin’)
