With a comeback album (“Problems”), due in May, The Get Up Kids are planning to tour in Japan, this autumn. The band from Kansas, Missouri certainly was as one of the most important emo rock bands of the nineties. Now they are back to give you nostalgia chills (if you were a teen around 1999).
Before their break-up in 2005, they toured Japan a few times, so they probably still have a fairly large fan base here. In other words, you better get your tickets before the shows are sold out!
