Fuji Rock is one of the largest music festivals in Asia. Three days full of countless great bands, artistic performances and lots of activities happen every year at the Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. This year, the festival will take place between July 28-30 and a variety of ticket options are available. The headliners are The Strokes, Foo Fighters and Lizzo.
This 3-day festival is not too far from Tokyo, the closest train station being “Echigo Yuzawa”. Other than the name would suggest, it’s not near Mt. Fuji (aka Fujiyama), but in a ski resort surrounded by lush nature. It feels more like a festival in the forest than in a ski resort. With around 100,000-150,000 attendees every year, it is probably the most popular music festival in Japan.
